That a feeling of stress doesn’t mean that you are anxious (i.e. responding to an imagined threat), but might mean that you are just… stressed (i.e. responding to a real actual stressor that you aren’t consciously aware of… or have been told isn’t a stressor)
That 99.99% of other people really don’t know what they’re talking about
That the 50% of those people who sound most confident are the ones who know least what they’re talking about
That the other 00.01% of people are precious
When it comes to learning about human experiences, the best people to learn from are those experiencing those things….
…Those are not necessarily the people who are included in research or represented in teaching
There are no easy answers, but that doesn’t mean that all the questioning is hard
That people often need to have something to battle against
That you don’t need to eat the outer layers, if you want to you can eat only the squidgy bit in the middle of a cinnamon bun
